PropNex Malaysia targets 5,000 agents as 800 hit six-figure sales

PropNex Malaysia aims to grow its professional network to 5,000 under its PXM5000 initiative, with about 800 negotiators already achieving six-figure sales. The expansion follows the joining of nearly 200 professionals from DreamVest Realty, bringing the nationwide network to over 2,200.

PETALING JAYA (Sept 29): PropNex Malaysia said about 800 of its real estate negotiators are now achieving six-figure sales as it targets building a 5,000-strong professional network under its PXM5000 initiative.

The initiative comes as close to 200 real estate professionals from DreamVest Realty join PropNex Malaysia, which the company said would bring its nationwide network to more than 2,200 professionals. The collaboration was announced at The Blue Wave 2026 at PropNex Malaysia's headquarters in Petaling Jaya today, where the two agencies marked the occasion with a symbolic signing ceremony and Blue Wave flag handover.

PropNex Malaysia CEO Marcus Teng said PXM5000 was not simply about increasing headcount, but about developing higher-performing property professionals through training, technology, personal branding and leadership development. "We are not just after people for the sake of numbers, but we really want to elevate or build the buy-sell agent and transform them into consultant-based negotiators or agents," he said.

Teng said PropNex Malaysia started with 67 people in 2018 and has since grown to more than 2,200 real estate professionals nationwide, with its next phase focused on raising more negotiators to the six-figure sales level. "The next one is we need to elevate them to the six-figure negotiator standards. And right now, we already have 800," he said.

Teng, who entered the property industry more than two decades ago and previously ran his own agency, said his experience had shaped his belief in the importance of having access to a larger platform. He said his previous business had faced constraints in resources, research and development, and other areas that made further expansion difficult, prompting him eventually to join the PropNex platform.

Under PXM5000, Teng said the company would focus on engaging its agents, equipping them with skills, knowledge and technology, and empowering them to take on greater roles in the markets they serve. The company's technology resources include its apps, agent portals and website, while its development programmes also emphasise personal branding.

PropNex Malaysia said PXM5000 forms part of its broader "Unity Journey", centred on the theme "United as One. Transform Generations". The company cited PropNex Singapore's integration with Dennis Wee Group (DWG) in 2017 as a reference point. Hundreds of DWG salespersons moved to PropNex following the exercise, expanding the Singapore agency's platform for training, technology, systems, leadership development and market opportunities.
