Magma Kiara Sdn Bhd has launched WOLO Mont Kiara, a 60-storey hospitality-led mixed-use development along Persiaran Dutamas at the gateway between Dutamas, Mont Kiara and KL Metropolis. The project combines 378 private branded residences, 98 serviced suites, a 63-room boutique hotel affiliated with Design Hotels under the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, and five retail lots within a single tower, offering a proposition distinct from conventional condominiums.
The residential component is positioned around the concept of “Where Hospitality Meets Home”, featuring hotel-style management, design-led interiors and boutique-branded living. The private residences are endorsed by Global Branded Residences Ltd (UK), while the hotel component is affiliated with Design Hotels under Marriott Bonvoy. The development also incorporates Marriott International’s Fire Life Safety standards.
WOLO Mont Kiara is located along Persiaran Dutamas, placing it within the established Dutamas–Mont Kiara corridor and close to KL Metropolis. The location provides access to major roads including Jalan Kuching, DUKE, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim and Jalan Dutamas, connecting residents to Kuala Lumpur’s city centre, Jalan Duta and surrounding northern Kuala Lumpur neighbourhoods. The developer highlights the upcoming MRT3 Circle Line, including the proposed Station 6 Dutamas, as an additional connectivity advantage.
The residences are designed with wider frontages rather than deep floor plates, with frontages of up to 13.3 metres and lanais of up to 8.35 metres. The architecture, designed by Openbox Architects with interiors by 932 DesignGroup Singapore and landscape by SHMA of Bangkok, uses sculptural façade panels inspired by traditional Asian clay tiles and passive design principles for shading and airflow.
Current reported pricing starts from RM1,680 psf, with smaller units offering an entry point below RM1 million. The reported estimated maintenance fee is RM0.95 psf. Residential layouts focus on compact one- and two-bedroom configurations, with sizes ranging from 450 sq ft and 514 sq ft units targeting investors and urban professionals to 780 sq ft and 987 sq ft layouts for owner-occupiers and couples.
The development is planned for completion in Q4 2030.
