Liew said the buyer was drawn to the unit's full, unblocked view and double-height living hall. The property was one of only six units in the entire building, each with six car parks. Duplex penthouses on the market in Mont Kiara are also quite rare, he noted.

The previous owner was selling as he was moving abroad.

In a separate transaction on 11 June, a condominium unit at Trinity Pentamont with a built-up size of 2,002 sq ft was sold at RM1.82 million, reflecting a price of RM909.09 psf, according to EdgeProp EPIQ.

As of mid-October, based on 22 sale listings on EdgeProp of condominium units at Trinity Pentamont, the average asking price was RM1,971,818 or RM910.92 psf, based on built-up sizes ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 sq ft. Based on 30 rental listings, the average asking monthly rate was RM8,083.33 or RM4.38 psf, based on built-up sizes ranging from 700 to 2,090 sq ft.
