Sunway Sakura Residence, a low-density landed residential development within Sunway City Iskandar Puteri in Johor, has been launched with Japanese-inspired design and prices starting from RM2.5 million. The development comprises 100 residences, offering a selection of Semi-D+, Semi-D and bungalow homes with built-up areas from 3,190 sq ft for the Semi-D category up to 3,903 sq ft for selected bungalow layouts. The homes incorporate prefabricated construction technology and are positioned as luxury landed residences with an emphasis on craftsmanship, insulation and protection against the elements.

Located within Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, the project provides access to the wider Medini and Iskandar Puteri area. The developer states that the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link is approximately 5km away, while Puteri Harbour is around 8km away and Senai International Airport is approximately 35km from the development. Singapore's CBD and Changi Airport are stated at approximately 46km and 63km respectively.

Sunway City Iskandar Puteri is an integrated township spanning approximately 2,000 acres and positioned around six precincts. Residents of Sunway Sakura Residence benefit from proximity to schools including SJK(C) Cheah Fah and Sunway International School, as well as the wider EduCity education cluster. Retail and leisure amenities such as Sunway Citrine Hub, Sunway Big Box and LEGOLAND are also nearby, along with healthcare facilities.

The development is designed as a private, low-density enclave with landscaped surroundings and a dedicated clubhouse featuring a swimming pool, gym and jogging facilities. Security features include gated-and-guarded access, video intercom, CCTV monitoring, 24-hour surveillance and township auxiliary police patrols. The homes offer four- to five-bedroom configurations and highlight strong structural systems, thermal and sound insulation, waterproof sealing and finger-safe doors.

Recent secondary-market listings observed in 2026 have included units with asking prices around RM2.34 million to RM2.68 million, though these should be treated as individual asking prices rather than confirmed transaction values. The project sits within the upper segment of the landed residential market in Iskandar Puteri, aimed towards buyers seeking spacious Semi-D and bungalow living with the convenience of a managed township environment. Publicly available transaction data for the project is limited.
