SevenCo breaks ground on 48-storey Maison Sungai Besi in KL

SevenCo Sdn Bhd held the groundbreaking of Maison Sungai Besi, a 48-storey high-rise residential tower in Taman Castlefield, Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur. The project offers 537 units sized 721 to 1,206 sq ft and is the developer's first residential venture in the Klang Valley.

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 6): SevenCo Sdn Bhd today held the groundbreaking ceremony for Maison Sungai Besi, its latest high-rise residential development at Taman Castlefield, Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur. The 48-storey single-tower project, the developer's first in the Klang Valley, will offer 537 units ranging from 721 sq ft to 1,206 sq ft.

The ceremony was officiated by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) board of advisers member Mohd Ashraf Mazlan. Also present were SevenCo group chief financial officer Henry Leow, executive director Sim Zhi An, chief operating officer Ng Han Seong and group chief development officer Idvan Goh.

SevenCo described Maison Sungai Besi as designed to provide attainable urban living. Ng said the development will include solar panels integrated into the building and electric-vehicle charging bays.

The site is connected via the Sungai Besi Expressway (SBE) and the Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway, and lies approximately 3–4 km from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), KL's major integrated southern transport hub. Ng added that a dedicated shuttle service will link residents directly to Sungai Besi station, providing access to LRT and MRT lines as well as the public bus transit at TBS.

SevenCo was incorporated in 2024 and focuses on practical, sustainable and relatively attainable residential developments. Its current portfolio includes Sevora Residence in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, and the completed Villa Cloud Gate, also in Penang.

Construction of Maison Sungai Besi is 25 per cent complete and is expected to be finished in 2031.
