PETALING JAYA (Oct 22) — Property developer Radium Development Bhd said its Radium Evara residential project in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur has recorded a 40 per cent take-up. The response followed the opening of its sales gallery and initial buyer selection activities, the company said in a statement on Wednesday (Oct 21).

The development comprises 797 homes on a 5.314-acre site, with completion targeted for 2030. Three- and four-bedroom units range from 800 sq ft to 1,250 sq ft, with an average price of RM450,000. Radium said the project targets owner-occupiers, including growing families and multigenerational households.

Group managing director Datuk Gary Gan Kah Siong said the company aimed to strengthen connections between residents and their surroundings. “Our vision for Radium Evara extends beyond delivering quality homes. We want to contribute positively to Kepong’s continued evolution by creating a development where residents feel connected — not only to their surroundings, but also to one another,” he said.

According to the developer, the project has access to MRR2, Jalan Kuching, DUKE Highway and the Selayang-Kepong Highway, with KTM and MRT stations nearby. Surrounding amenities include retail outlets, schools, healthcare facilities and Kepong Metropolitan Park.

Planned facilities include a swimming pool, gymnasium, basketball court, yoga deck, sauna, multipurpose hall and children’s play areas. Radium said the project has received GreenRE Provisional Silver certification. Its design incorporates natural light, ventilation, greenery and open spaces, the developer added.

Chief marketing officer Kenneth Khoo said the response gave the company confidence that its emphasis on everyday liveability resonated with owner-occupiers. “Today’s buyers are looking beyond postcode prestige. They want homes that will continue supporting them as their lives evolve — whether they’re starting a family, working flexibly or planning for the future,” he said.
