PETALING JAYA (Sept 7): Mah Sing Group Bhd said it has been named among Malaysia’s Top 10 Developers at the Hubexo Asia Awards 2026, marking its 15th consecutive year receiving the recognition.

Formerly known as the BCI Asia Awards, the Hubexo Asia Awards recognise developers and architecture firms across selected Asian markets.

Mah Sing said in its press release that the Top 10 Developers award takes into account the value of construction projects during the preceding full calendar year, with green building ratings incorporated into the assessment.

Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said the 15-year run reflected the group’s ability to adapt through different property and economic cycles. “Over the past 15 years, we have navigated different market cycles, but our philosophy has remained clear: stay close to the market, anticipate where demand is heading and have the agility to act when the right opportunities emerge,” he said in a statement on Monday.

Leong said property development would remain Mah Sing’s core business, while the group continued to pursue new areas of growth. Mah Sing said its development strategy focuses on acquiring strategically located land and bringing products to market in response to demand.

Its portfolio includes high-rise and landed residential projects, townships and mixed developments, while its M Series is focused on the affordable urban residential segment. The group is also expanding its industrial footprint while pursuing digital-infrastructure and data-centre-related opportunities.

Looking ahead, Mah Sing said it would continue to selectively replenish its landbank and maintain a development pipeline aligned with market demand.

Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming was the guest of honour at the Hubexo Asia Awards 2026 Malaysia ceremony, according to Mah Sing. Mah Sing general manager of sales and marketing Angela Chong received the award on behalf of the group.
