Sime Darby Property's Jendela Residences in KLGCC Resort has won Top Development (Central Malaysia) in the high-rise category at the EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards (EPEA) 2026. The 520-unit development, completed at the end of 2025, is fully sold, with subsale prices rising by about 30% above launch prices since completion and a waiting list of prospective buyers still in place.

About 80% of the homes are owner-occupied, mostly by high-net-worth Malaysians from neighbourhoods such as Damansara Heights, TTDI, Mont Kiara and Petaling Jaya. Some affluent families have bought multiple units to live close to one another, and the development has also drawn returning Malaysians and golfers looking for a retirement address.

Designed by Triarch Architects, Jendela draws inspiration from Malay weaving traditions, translating songket craftsmanship into a contemporary architectural language. The weaving motif carries through to the landscape by Design INC, where striped paving, curving pool decks and layered planting create a resort-like setting. Each typical floor has just four units per wing, with no intermediate units, creating what the developer describes as a semi-D in the sky.

The homes comprise three-bedroom, three-bedroom-plus-study and four-bedroom-plus-study layouts, with wide living and dining areas, wet and dry kitchens and balconies overlooking the golf course, Bukit Kiara and the city skyline. Four units in Tower A come with private infinity pools. Facilities include a 50m infinity pool, a yoga and pilates barn, sky lounge, infrared sauna, herb garden and a viewing pavilion.

The development is GreenRE Gold-certified, with Low-E glass, solar blinds, solar panels, regenerative lifts and rainwater harvesting. Every unit's car park bay is ready for an EV charger, and a complimentary shuttle service connects residents to nearby neighbourhoods.

Jendela Residences is part of the 360-acre KLGCC Resort, of which only about 16% is designated for development. The Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club at its heart has 36 holes of championship golf and a history of hosting international tournaments. KLGCC Mall opened in October 2025 with about 90% of its retail space committed, serving a catchment of more than 300,000 residents. KLGCC Resort is preparing to launch its next residential project, with only limited development opportunities remaining.

Sime Darby Property sees the EPEA win as an opportunity to introduce Jendela Residences and KLGCC Resort to a wider regional audience, including Malaysians living and working in Singapore. The developer said it has seen a strong level of cross-border interest in the project. The win is the developer's first at the EPEA; Sime Darby Property was named Malaysia's No. 1 property developer at The Edge Malaysia Top Property Developers Awards 2025 for the second consecutive year.
