Inta Bina to start main works on RM221m Novva @ Gravit8 project in Klang on Sept 28

Main building works for the Novva @ Gravit8 development in Kota Bayuemas, Klang, will begin on Sept 28 after Inta Bina Group secured a RM221.08 million contract. The project comprises a 39-storey serviced apartment tower with 654 units and a 20-storey office tower.

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 24) — Main building works for Novva @ Gravit8 in Kota Bayuemas, Klang, are scheduled to begin on Sept 28 after Inta Bina Group Bhd (KL:INTA) secured a RM221.08 million construction contract for the development.

Inta Bina said in a Bursa Malaysia filing on Thursday (Sept 24) that its wholly owned subsidiary, Inta Bina Sdn Bhd, had accepted a letter of award from Prisma Melody Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitraland Holding (M) Sdn Bhd.

Novva, identified in the filing as Gravit8 Phase 4, comprises a 39-storey serviced apartment tower with 654 units and a 20-storey office tower. The development also includes an eight-storey parking podium, commercial space, recreational facilities and a sports complex.

The project is located on Lots PT 129230, PT 129231, PT 129232 and PT 129233 along Jalan Bayu Laut/KS9 in Kota Bayuemas, Klang. The works have two sectional completion dates: Sept 27, 2028 and Jan 27, 2029. The filing does not specify which components fall under each section.

Inta Bina said this is its fourth project with Mitraland in a business relationship spanning 14 years. The award raises its new order book from about RM424 million to RM645 million. It also reported a tender book of about RM3.6 billion comprising residential, commercial and data centre projects.

The contractor expects the job to contribute positively to its earnings over the contract period. It plans to fund the works through internally generated funds and/or external borrowings.
