PETALING JAYA (Oct 7) – IJM Land has launched its “Shock and Shiok” campaign at the 3,800-acre freehold Seremban 2 township in Negeri Sembilan, offering eligible homebuyers a chance to win one of three Proton e.MAS 5 Premium electric vehicles (EVs). The campaign runs from 1 Jul to 31 Dec 2026 and covers Sutera Phases 1 and 2, Batiq Phase 1, Nova Phases 1 and 2, and Vio Banj’ran, the developer said in a media release on Tuesday (Oct 6).
The three EVs have a combined value of RM209,400 and are fully funded by IJM Land Seremban 2. Eligible purchasers stand a chance to win one of the vehicles, subject to terms and conditions. Participating homes come equipped with built-in EV-ready charging isolator points, while eligible purchasers of Sutera, Batiq and Nova will also receive complimentary solar photovoltaic panels.
IJM Land chief operating officer Datuk Chai Kian Soon said the campaign reflects changing homebuyer priorities, including mobility, energy use and long-term household planning. “Buyers are looking beyond the home as a physical space. They are asking how it can support daily movement, energy use and long-term household planning. Through this campaign, we are bringing EV mobility, solar support and township living into one practical proposition that continues delivering value well beyond the point of purchase,” he said.
Chai added that the initiative reflects the developer’s efforts to make its townships more responsive to evolving lifestyle needs. According to IJM Land, Seremban 2 was established in 1995 and is now 80% completed, home to more than 62,000 residents, with amenities including education facilities, commercial conveniences, community infrastructure, parks and landscaped green spaces.
