SUBANG JAYA (Oct 31): Gamuda Land and Taylor’s Assets have opened Block A of Haus on 15 for sale after Block B was fully sold, the companies announced at the official launch of the mixed-use development on the former Taylor’s College Subang Jaya site. The launch on Saturday (Oct 31) followed the project’s groundbreaking in July 2026.
Located in SS15, Haus on 15 combines serviced residences, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and retail space. Its serviced residence component comprises 614 units across two 24-storey towers, with built-ups ranging from 550 sq ft to 980 sq ft. The development also includes 18 retail units across three floors. Residential layouts include dual-key and triple-key units.
The project is approximately 500m from the SS15 LRT station, with road access via the New Pantai Expressway, Subang–Kelana Jaya Bypass and Persiaran Kewajipan. Gamuda Land CEO Gim Teck Yew said the redevelopment sought to retain SS15’s character while introducing residences, student accommodation and retail to meet changing community needs.
The PBSA component will be retained by Taylor’s Assets and managed by Taylor’s Hostel Management. Described by the companies as Taylor’s first off-campus PBSA, it is intended to serve students from institutions across the wider Subang Jaya–Sunway education corridor. Taylor’s Assets and Taylor’s Residence president Sheena Angelina said the redevelopment would maintain the site’s connection to education following the consolidation of the college’s operations at Lakeside.
Gamuda Land said it was working with the relevant authorities on measures to improve pedestrian connectivity and walkability around the development. Proposals for cycling connections and targeted road and infrastructure improvements are also being explored. The companies said planning-stage community engagement had involved Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya, residents’ representatives, nearby educational institutions, businesses, Think City and community groups.
They said construction planning would take neighbouring institutions’ academic calendars, including examination periods, into account when scheduling higher-impact and noise-generating works, where practicable. Haus on 15 has received a provisional GreenRE Bronze rating and will provide on-site electric vehicle charging facilities. Planned resident amenities include a gymnasium, swimming pool, playground, barbecue garden, co-working room, entertainment room, games room, dance room and party room.
