PETALING JAYA (Aug 21): i-City Properties Sdn Bhd is collaborating with four property agencies to begin market engagement and prospective buyer registrations for AI Living @ i-City in Shah Alam ahead of the residential development’s targeted official launch in October.
In a press statement on Thursday (Aug 20), the developer said Firdaus & Associates will serve as the lead agency, alongside IQI Global, ESP Global and PropNex Malaysia.
According to the statement, the collaboration is intended to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can support the property ownership journey, from property discovery and purchase to rentals, sub-sales and resident services.
The development will be centred on UrbanOS, i-City’s digital platform, which the developer said is being developed to integrate AI, robotics, smart-building systems and resident services.
I-Bhd director Datuk Eu Hong Chew said the initiative was intended to examine how AI could improve different stages of the homeowner journey. “AI Living is not just about building AI-enabled residences. It is about exploring how AI can improve every stage of the homeowner journey — from discovering a property and completing the purchase, to renting, reselling and accessing services throughout ownership,” he said.
Eu said bringing together the four agencies provides an opportunity to explore how developers, property professionals and residents could remain connected beyond the initial property transaction. The agencies will begin market engagement and prospective buyer registrations ahead of the targeted October launch, while the signing of sale and purchase agreements is targeted to begin in the second quarter of 2027.
Further project details were not disclosed in the press statement.
