PETALING JAYA (Nov 4): Eng Han Group has topped out its 49-storey Tangen Residences in North Kiara, Segambut, with approximately 90% of the development’s 413 units taken up. In a statement dated Nov 4, the group said vacant possession is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.

The freehold development has a gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM358 million. Occupying a 2.83-acre site, Tangen Residences comprises a single tower offering three- and four-bedroom units ranging from 1,033 sq ft to 1,582 sq ft. The group said prices start from RM626,000.

The development is near Mont Kiara, Desa ParkCity and Kepong, with access to the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway and Middle Ring Road 2. Planned rooftop facilities on Level 49 include a yoga and dance studio, meditation deck, reading lounge, indoor and outdoor sky lounges, a sky cinema and the Luminous Moonlight Terrace. The group said the project has obtained provisional GreenRE Silver certification.

Eng Han Group director Pua Kai Han said the group’s approach to development extends beyond completing buildings. “A house is made of bricks and concrete. A home is where a family builds its future. That is why we look beyond completing a building, to whether the location is right, the layout is practical and the development is sustainable for the years ahead,” he said.

The group said its construction and development teams work closely together to identify potential issues during planning and design. Its construction arm holds an order book of approximately RM1 billion in secured contracts with developers and business partners. It added that, as at September 2026, it had sold more than 4,000 units across its property development portfolio, which had a combined GDV of approximately RM1.7 billion.

Established as a construction business in 1992, Eng Han Group entered property development in 2005 with Taman Desa Penaga in Kulim, Kedah. Its portfolio now spans landed homes, high-rise residences, commercial properties and mixed-use developments across Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah. Its first high-rise residential project in Kuala Lumpur was Ixora Residences, which forms part of ARI Permaisuri alongside Akasia and Rumbia.

The group’s upcoming projects include apartments in Aman Perdana, Klang, and Lavender Heights, Senawang, as well as semi-detached homes and bungalows at Greenhill Residence Phase 5 in Shah Alam. In Sabah, its pipeline comprises Montrose condominium in Damai, Kota Kinabalu; Gemilia Suites serviced suites in Menggatal; and single-storey terrace homes at Taman Senja in Sipitang. “Construction and property development are the two core pillars of Eng Han Group, and our future lies in growing them hand in hand,” Pua said.
