Damosa Land, Inc. (DLI) won multiple top honours at the 14th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards 2026 on 20 Aug, held at Shangri-La The Fort. The Mindanao-based developer received the Best Boutique Developer award for the second consecutive year and the third time since 2020, making it the only Mindanao-homegrown property developer recognised in this year's awards.
DLI's TRYP by Wyndham Samal condotel secured two premier accolades: Best Investment Condo Development and Best Beachfront Condotel Architectural Design. The condotel, which broke ground in January 2026, is the first project approved under the Securities and Exchange Commission's Securing and Expanding Capital in Real Estate Non-Traditional Securities (SEC-RENT) framework. It is slated for completion in 2028.
The Best Investment Condo Development award recognised the condotel's strategic location, strong rental yield, capital appreciation and robust property management services. The Best Beachfront Condotel Architectural Design award highlighted the property's luxurious coastal design, durable climate-resilient infrastructure and efficient hospitality layouts that maximise oceanfront views.
TRYP by Wyndham Samal is a contemporary island hotel inspired by the Bahay na Bato architectural style, integrating heritage-inspired design with modern tropical hospitality. The project introduces the first global hotel brand to the Island Garden City of Samal; Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is one of the world's leading hospitality groups. Construction is underway and 70 per cent of the units have been sold.
DLI President Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo said the recognition validates that Mindanao is leading the way in real estate innovation. “Damosa Land remains steadfast in its mission to deliver world-class yet mindful projects that drive investment potential and create lasting value for generations to come,” he added.
DLI's portfolio includes the agritourism township Agriya, Anflo Industrial Estate, Bridgeport mixed-use marina lifestyle development, Damosa IT Park, and premium residential projects Kahi Estates, Ameria and Agriya Gardens.
