Century Properties Group (CPG) has officially opened the show village for Cerulean Residences, a 25-hectare master-planned house-and-lot community in General Trias, Cavite. The launch marks a significant departure from the developer's usual vertical condominium projects, as it brings its signature resort-living concept to a traditional suburban neighbourhood.

Designed by Singapore-based Pomeroy Studio, the same architectural firm behind CPG's Azure and Acqua projects, Cerulean Residences is divided into three zones: active spaces for sports and fitness, meditative green areas, and water-themed attractions. 'Filipino families have always gravitated toward the water,' CPG Managing Director Carlo Antonio said. 'What we learned from Azure and Acqua is that people do not just want to visit that feeling on a holiday, they want to come home to it.'

The show village features two-storey model homes named after beaches, with contemporary asymmetrical roofs and minimalist interiors. Each home comes with a perimeter fence, a gate, and a two-car garage with an EV charger provision. The 1,100 planned homes are designed with flexible layouts that optimise natural light and can adapt as families grow or work-from-home arrangements change. 'A house should be able to keep up with the family living in it,' Antonio noted.

Located in Barangay San Francisco along Arnaldo Highway, the site is near major thoroughfares including Governor's Drive, Aguinaldo Highway, and the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX). To support the residential enclave, CPG is developing Century Lifepark, a commercial strip just outside the village gates that will provide retail and daily essentials for residents and the surrounding General Trias market.

'Move Up, Live Better is what four decades of building has taught us families are actually asking for,' Antonio said. 'They want something better than what they have, in a community they can be proud of, without stretching beyond what makes sense for them. It is aspirational but attainable.'
