Aneka Jaringan wins RM26.2m substructure contract for KL serviced apartment tower

Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd has secured a RM26.2 million contract for substructure works on a 53-storey serviced apartment project on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur. The contract covers earthworks, piling, pile caps, retaining walls and substructure work for the 394-unit development by Exsim YKS

PETALING JAYA (Sept 23): Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd has secured a RM26.2 million contract for earthworks, piling and pile caps, retaining-wall and substructure works for a proposed 53-storey serviced apartment development on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Kuala Lumpur.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday (Sept 23), Aneka said its wholly owned subsidiary Aneka Jaringan Sdn Bhd received the letter of award on Sept 22 and accepted it on Sept 23. The letter, dated Sept 14, was issued by WDA Architects Sdn Bhd for and on behalf of Exsim YKS 54 Sdn Bhd, the project employer.

The proposed development on Lot 54, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, Section 43, comprises 394 serviced apartments, a strata office unit, parking, public facilities, and mechanical and electrical spaces. The contract sum excludes service tax for construction work services.

The contract period runs from Sept 15, 2026, to Aug 14, 2028. Aneka said the commencement date was agreed with the architect, acting for the employer, during final negotiations to avoid delaying the works.

Aneka expects the contract to contribute positively to its consolidated earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Aug 31, 2027, and Aug 31, 2028.
