TRC Synergy unit lands RM149.98m subcontract for hyperscale data centre works

TRC Synergy Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary TRC Construction Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM149.98 million subcontract from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd for underground services works at a hyperscale data centre. The contract commenced on 14 Aug 2026 and is scheduled for completion by 25 Nov 2026.

PETALING JAYA (Sept 8): TRC Synergy Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary TRC Construction Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM149.98 million subcontract from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd for underground services works for a hyperscale data centre.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Tuesday (Sept 8), TRC Synergy said TRC Construction accepted the award on the same day. The contract commenced on Aug 14 and is scheduled for completion by Nov 25.

The group said the subcontract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share over the contract period.

The filing did not disclose the location of the data centre, its owner or the end customer.
