In an intimate acceptance speech, Tan expressed gratitude to the SM Supermalls team, the Sy family for their trust and mentorship, partner tenants, and Filipino families. He also credited his mother for teaching him hard work, kindness, and serving others, and thanked his life partner, Dos, for being his constant inspiration.
