An office unit at MOF Inc Tower in Kuala Lumpur has been rented for RM80,130 per month, reflecting RM7.10 psf. The tenant was attracted by the fully furnished fit-out and the layout, which allowed immediate occupancy.

An office unit at MOF Inc Tower in Kuala Lumpur has been leased for RM80,130 a month, according to a deal recorded by EdgeProp. The built-up area of the unit is 6,845.8 sq ft, reflecting a rental rate of RM7.10 psf.

Jacky Lai of MP Global Realty Sdn Bhd, who handled the transaction, said the tenants appreciated the fully furnished and fitted unit, which allowed for immediate occupancy. They also found the rental terms suitable for their current expansion plans. The office stood out from comparable listings because of its layout and design, which the tenants considered unique.

The property had been on the market for about one month following the end of the previous tenancy. The owner was impressed by the tenants’ well-established profile, and negotiations over the terms and conditions proceeded smoothly.

As of early September, based on 11 rental listings on EdgeProp for office units at MOF Inc Tower, the average asking monthly rate was RM50,351.18, or RM6.82 psf, for built-up sizes ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 sq ft.
