Heritage Valley KL posts RM4.6m sales in first year, targets RM6.5m annually
UDA Holdings Bhd’s Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur generated more than RM4.6 million in cumulative sales during its first 12 months of operations. The 1.71-acre entrepreneurship hub along Jalan Doraisamy was developed at a cost of RM9.7 million and has benefited over 500 entrepreneurs.
PETALING JAYA (Sept 11): Vendors at UDA Holdings Bhd’s Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur generated more than RM4.6 million in cumulative sales during the hub’s first 12 months of operations, according to the property development and asset management company.
The entrepreneurship and community hub occupies a 1.71-acre site along Jalan Doraisamy in Kuala Lumpur and was developed at a cost of RM9.7 million, said UDA in a press release on Wednesday (Sept 9). It began operations in August 2025 and was officially launched on Tuesday (Sept 8) by Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong.
UDA said Heritage Valley benefited more than 500 entrepreneurs and vendors between August 2025 and August 2026 through permanent tenancies, pop-up activities and other events. The project was developed by UDA in collaboration with operator Luxe Acre Sdn Bhd. Of the RM9.7 million development cost, RM6.4 million was borne by UDA while Luxe Acre invested RM3.3 million.
Heritage Valley currently has 26 permanent entrepreneurs operating from kiosks and shop lots. UDA plans to add 14 pop-up stores, bringing the total number of business lots to 40. The hub has also attracted more than 100,000 visitors to its events since operations began.
Sim said the project demonstrated how previously underutilised urban spaces could be activated to create commercial opportunities for micro, small and medium enterprises, particularly those seeking access to strategic locations in the city centre. UDA CEO Datuk Seri Ahmad Fuaad Kenali said the project's success would be measured by its ability to help entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses rather than by physical development and occupancy alone.
UDA is targeting annual sales of more than RM6.5 million at Heritage Valley. Heritage Valley forms part of UDA’s Malaysian Entrepreneur Hub (MEH) initiative, which is aimed at providing business spaces and market access for entrepreneurs. Across its MEH projects nationwide, including Morten Walk in Melaka and Santai Camp in Johor, UDA said 611 entrepreneurs had benefited from the initiative as of August. The MEH projects had generated estimated cumulative sales of more than RM7.75 million over the same period.
