Herbalife Vietnam has come on board as an official sponsor and content co-creator of the fourth season of New Generation Students 2026, a reality TV programme produced and broadcast by Vietnam Television (VTV3). The company is working with organisers to develop themes that encourage university students to turn ideas into practical community projects.
Herbalife is also backing the programme's first nationwide online competition, which invites students across Vietnam to identify local challenges, propose solutions, and build projects that address community needs. Participants can gain skills in creativity, teamwork, project management and problem-solving while implementing their ideas.
Vu Van Thang, general manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said young people play an important role in society and make up a significant share of the company's independent members in Vietnam. Programmes such as New Generation Students give them opportunities to express their views, test new ideas and gain practical experience, he added.
Thang encouraged students to take initiative, embrace challenges and remain open to learning. “Young people should believe in themselves, stay eager to learn, and actively embrace new experiences. Every experience can become a lesson that helps them grow and build a foundation for long-term development,” he said.
New Generation Students has been produced and broadcast by VTV3 since 2023, with Herbalife Vietnam providing sponsorship and content development support from the very first season. The 2026 season airs at 9:30 p.m. every Saturday on VTV3, starting 17 Oct.
This year, the programme introduced its first nationwide online competition, giving more students a chance to participate beyond the eight official television teams. VnExpress is the media and implementation partner for the online competition and has developed the website Sinhvienthehemoi.com, which provides information about the programme, selection rounds, projects, competing teams, local issues, relevant data and expert perspectives. Registration runs from 24 Oct to 24 Nov through the official website.
