Filinvest Innovation Parks first in Philippine industrial real estate to earn IFC A+ resilience rating

Filinvest Land, Inc. has achieved a landmark milestone for Philippine industrial real estate, with its Filinvest Innovation Parks across North and South Luzon earning verified A+ Ratings under the Building Resilience Index (BRI) framework. The BRI is an international initiative established by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.

The globally recognised assessment covers the park's Ready-Built Factories, specifically Cluster 1 Units 1 to 5 at Filinvest Innovation Park New Clark City and Units 1 to 4 at Filinvest Innovation Park Ciudad de Calamba. The ratings were independently evaluated and verified on-site by Haskoning Philippines Inc., an IFC-accredited third-party verifier.

Filinvest Innovation Park serves as a central engine for commerce, industrial growth, and job creation along the Luzon Economic Corridor, which connects Subic, Clark, Manila, and Batangas. The development links vital supply networks and solidifies the nation's role in global supply chains for advanced semiconductors, artificial intelligence hardware, and high-tech manufacturing.

“This Building Resilience Index A+ recognition is not merely a badge of completion; it serves as structural proof of permanent operational stability and guarantees that the economic momentum generated within the park remains uninterrupted, shielding local commerce and regional enterprise from climate-induced disruptions,” said Francis V. Ceballos, Filinvest Land Senior Vice President and Industrial Business Unit Head.

The IFC BRI verification provides an audited guarantee of continuity for tenants. Structural designs at the parks can withstand winds up to 290 kilometres per hour, incorporate elevated site grading against flooding, automated fire defence systems, and redundant transport corridors. For global investors, the independently verified climate-hardened base is intended to translate into lower insurance premiums, protected property valuations, and compliance with global environmental, social, and governance standards.
