KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 5) — Binastra Corp Bhd has secured a RM303.8 million contract from PTT Synexis Sdn Bhd for construction works on a proposed industrial warehouse in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang. In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday (Nov 4), Binastra said its wholly owned subsidiary, Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award that day.

The fixed-price, lump-sum contract excludes service tax. Work is scheduled to begin on Nov 11, 2026, and be completed by Sept 30, 2027. The contract covers piling, main building works and associated external works on Lots PT 165101 to PT 165120, Jalan Lansaran 2/KU 5, Bandar Bukit Raja, Mukim Kapar, Klang district, Selangor.

Binastra said the proposed development includes a single-storey warehouse with an automated storage and retrieval system, a mezzanine floor and a three-storey office. The plans also include two mechanical and electrical buildings of two storeys each, two guardhouses, two refuse chambers, an electrical substation, a five-storey car park and a temporary container yard depot area.

Binastra expects the contract to contribute positively to group earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending Jan 31, 2027 and Jan 31, 2028.
