Astoria Hotels and Resorts (AHR), a homegrown hospitality brand, is highlighting its events venues in Metro Manila and Palawan for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE). The company operates the Chardonnay Events Hall By Astoria in Pasig City and the Mangrove Conference & Convention Center By Astoria in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Chardonnay Events Hall By Astoria, operating since 2013, features multiple function rooms designed by Architect Ed Gallego and sisters Ivy and Cynthia Almario. The venue is located near Capitol Commons, Valle Verde Club, and Astoria Plaza. Its largest space, Grand Chardonnay, spans 409 square meters and accommodates up to 512 guests. Other rooms include Cabernet Sauvignon, a 135-square-meter space for up to 150 guests, and Cabernet and Sauvignon, two 68-square-meter rooms each hosting up to 80 guests.
The venue provides in-house events management services and catering, with plated meals or buffet-style setups prepared by Astoria chefs. A mobile bar offers local and international wines and premium drinks upon request.
In Palawan, the Mangrove Conference & Convention Center By Astoria is situated within Astoria Palawan, a resort facing the Sulu Sea. The main convention hall spans 439 square meters and can host up to 450 guests. Additional function rooms include Raffia, spanning 119 square meters for up to 100 guests, and Dao and Buri, each spanning 49 square meters for up to 50 guests.
The Palawan venue uses solar panels for efficient electricity consumption and offers accommodation in rooms and villas with tropical-inspired interiors. It also provides six dining outlets and beachfront locations for weddings. Both venues are positioned for corporate events and social celebrations, with Astoria emphasizing its "WorkPlays" concept for business trips.
