Topmix extends RM1.85m Senai industrial property disposal to Q4 2026

Topmix Bhd has pushed back the completion of its RM1.85 million disposal of a freehold industrial property in Senai, Johor, to the fourth quarter of 2026. The extension follows a mutual agreement with purchaser PMI Packaging Sdn Bhd, as the balance payment awaits bank processing.

PETALING JAYA (Sept 23): Surface decorative company Topmix Bhd has extended the completion date for its RM1.85 million disposal of an industrial property in Senai, Johor, to the fourth quarter of 2026.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Wednesday (Sept 23), the surface decorative products company said the balance sale consideration remained outstanding, pending the purchaser’s bank processing and release of the payment.

Topmix said its wholly owned subsidiary, Topmix Resources Sdn Bhd, and purchaser PMI Packaging Sdn Bhd had mutually agreed in writing to the extension. The disposal was previously expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.

The transaction involves about 0.0993ha of freehold industrial land and a 1½-storey semi-detached factory at No. 573, Jalan Idaman 3/7, Taman Perindustrian Senai. The companies signed the sale and purchase agreement on April 6.

Topmix had estimated a one-off net pro forma gain of RM1.17 million from the disposal, subject to the property’s net book value at completion, actual expenses incurred and real property gains tax paid. All other terms of the agreement remain unchanged.
