Mirvac names Kit Georgeos funds management chief; RMZ, Barwon make key hires

Mirvac has appointed Kit Georgeos as chief executive of funds management, while India's RMZ Corp has hired Ankit Samdariya as managing director of equity capital markets. Barwon Investment Partners has named Tom Patrick and Jonathon Pullin as managing partners following its acquisition by Hillhouse'

Mirvac has named Kit Georgeos as chief executive of funds management, effective 6 October, according to a LinkedIn announcement. Georgeos, who has served as fund manager of the Mirvac Wholesale Office Fund since 2023, succeeds Scott Mosely, who left in September to become head of real estate at IFM Investors. Her previous roles include three years as fund manager of AMP Capital's wholesale office fund and seven years at GPT Group, where she spent four years as deputy fund manager of its wholesale office fund. She began her career in real estate investment banking at Macquarie Group.

RMZ Corp has appointed Ankit Samdariya as managing director of equity capital markets, according to market sources familiar with the personnel change. The move, first reported by Mint, comes as the Bengaluru-based developer seeks $35 billion over five years for office, data centre and other developments, including a $1.7 billion joint venture with Colt DCS. Samdariya joins after five years as managing director for capital and business development at LO-GOI Group, where he helped arrange a $200 million warehousing sale to Blackstone. He earlier spent eight years at Xander Group, including as chief executive of co-working brand Hive Workspaces.

Barwon Investment Partners has named Tom Patrick and Jonathon Pullin as managing partners, following the fund manager's acquisition by Hillhouse's Rava Partners earlier this year. Patrick continues as head of healthcare property, overseeing nearly A$2.5 billion across three funds, and recently led Barwon's A$291 million acquisition of Melbourne's Peninsula Private Hospital from Australian Unity. He joined Barwon in 2014 from Stockland. Pullin continues as head of real estate credit, a post he has held since 2018 after six years as a director at a multi-family office, and oversees Barwon's mortgage and credit funds.

GuocoLand Group has hired Wenjie Lim as head of investment management and hotels, according to a LinkedIn announcement. Lim joins from Tuan Sing Holdings, where he spent more than two years as head of business development, working on the group's acquisition of Fraser Residence River Promenade to expand its hospitality portfolio. Lim earlier spent about 16 years across Keppel Land's Singapore and Indonesia units, most recently as director of sustainable urban renewal, and before that as head of commercial business at Keppel Land's Jakarta unit, PT Kepland Investama.

Structara Digital, a Singapore-based developer, owner and operator of digital infrastructure and renewable energy projects across Asia and Europe, has appointed Bernard Mah as chief operating officer, according to his LinkedIn profile. Mah joins from Nova Complex, where he spent nearly two years as COO building data centre projects across Finland, Brazil and Luxembourg. He earlier spent almost five years as head of real estate for Asia at Davidson Kempner Capital Management in Hong Kong, a hire first reported by Mingtiandi in 2019, and five years at Bain Capital Credit leading Asia Pacific real estate investing.

Lendlease has hired Sho Tamada as senior asset manager for investment in Japan, according to his LinkedIn profile. He joins as the developer builds out its recently launched $739 million value-add partnership with Dutch pension manager PGGM targeting logistics and office properties in Tokyo and Osaka. Tamada moves from ESR REIT Management, where he spent nearly two years as chief investment officer overseeing a private logistics REIT, and earlier spent three years at Prologis REIT Management. He began his career at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking, after four and a half years at LaSalle Investment Management in Tokyo.

Goodman has hired Helio Kutomi as data centre capacity delivery and operations director for Japan, according to a LinkedIn announcement. Kutomi will oversee delivery of Tsukuba Tech Central, a 45-hectare, 1-gigawatt campus in Ibaraki Prefecture whose first 50-megawatt phase was recently leased to a global hyperscale customer for 20 years, targeted for service in 2028. He joins from EdgeConneX, where he spent 16 months as a data centre design engineering project manager, and earlier worked at AirTrunk, Amazon Web Services and Schneider Electric across data centre operations and engineering roles in Japan and the wider Asia Pacific region.

Cushman & Wakefield has rehired Keith Hemshall as executive director in Hong Kong, according to his LinkedIn profile. Hemshall returns after three and a half years as consulting partner at tenant-only advisory firm Opus Property Advisers, and previously spent nearly five years as C&W's head of office leasing in Hong Kong, running a 30-person team. His return comes as Hong Kong's Central district office rents rebound after a six-year slide, fueled by finance-sector leasing demand. He earlier spent seven years as managing director of tenant advisory firm Cresa in Hong Kong.
