SYDNEY: Australian data center operator Firmus will launch its initial public offering (IPO) to raise A$7 billion (US$4.99 billion) from institutional investors on 6 Oct, according to a term sheet reviewed by Reuters. The company's shares are scheduled to begin trading on the Australian Securities Exchange on 22 Oct, the term sheet said.
Firmus had not immediately responded to a request for comment as of press time.
The IPO will be one of the largest listings on the Australian bourse this year, underscoring strong investor appetite for digital infrastructure assets amid surging demand for data storage and cloud services.
The term sheet did not provide further details on the offer price range or the number of shares to be sold.
